Free, Confidential Consultation:
EAS provides free, confidential consultation
for all employees and family members who live
in the employee’s household. Each employee/family
member is entitled to receive up to 3 consultations
each 6 months.

EAS provides an opportunity for employees and

in person, with a caring, committed, and knowledgeable
counselor. If you wish, you may choose telephone
consultation.
Referrals:
For additional support EAS will work closely
with you to find community resources that will
meet your needs.

EAS provides coaching for work and life enhancement.

A free 30 minute Attorney Consultation for issues
related to family law.

EAS
Founder/Principal and Associates
Psychotherapist Tom Lavin is the Founder and
Principal of EAS/Employee Assistance Services.
EAS provides consultation to the managers, employees
and families of numerous organizations throughout
Northern Nevada, including Saint Mary’s
Health Network, Reno-Sparks Convention &
Visitors Authority, Western Title, Nevada State Board of Nursing,
Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers and Concerned
Dentists Committee.
Licensed
as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and
Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Tom has expertise
in counseling individuals and families affected
by anxiety, depression, addictive disorders,
and work/family problems. Tom’s experience
as a former director of behavioral health services
and an Advanced Member, American College of
Addiction Treatment Administrators (American
College of Healthcare Executives) allows him
to understand, support and guide employees and
supervisors through difficult workplace issues.
With
a strong belief in the power of information
in making meaningful, healthy choices, since
1995 Tom has produced and hosted the “New
Skills for Living” community health education
show on the local ABC affiliate, KOLOTV. Tom
has provided over 400 television and newspaper
interviews on topics of health and wellness
including Daybreak, Face the State, Ask the
Doctor and Lawyers, Guns and Money. Since 1990,
over 5,000 healthcare professionals and members
of the public have attended his “Skills
for Living” health education classes.
